The age of the Earth is about 4.5 billion years and currently home to 10 to 14 million species of life. This includes over 7.3 billion humans who depend upon its biosphere and minerals.

The last century was dominated by wars and conflicts. Some of these, like the first and second World Wars, were large in scale and threatened to destroy the whole world. More than 203 million people have died from war-related issues, massacres, slaughters and oppressions.

The 21st Century must be the century that democracy and the rule of law focus on human rights, social justice, racial and gender equality, and economic emancipation.

These decisions must come through global consensus; coordinated by individual states for each and every member of these communities.

I believe in ideals, just like Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and Mister Kofi Annan. And I have a dream that young people as well as the leaders of the world can dream of things that never were, and ask why not?

Albert Einstein once said: "We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them."

I am very grateful to be appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the International Council ICLGEM for leadership and Peace Education and Peace Studies. It is my hope that together, we can find solutions to a better, brighter and more peaceful world.
