There are many advisory bodies in the international scientific community but so far none that have specifically focussed on the broad practice-based research and project field 'Leadership | Governance | Entrepreneurship | Management'. Most excellence boards don’t work in an interdisciplinary way. Therefore the ICLGEM has focussed on two strategic aims:

1. The ICLGEM is the first international advisory council to concentrate on the broad field of 'Leadership | Governance | Entrepreneurship | Management' in an interdisciplinary way. It fosters the various scientific disciplines in problem areas through interdisciplinary support. This it is able to do because it has an interdisciplinary body, which can examine the specific issues that arise in one field or another.

2. The ICLGEM pursues an open and transparent policy of bringing about public awareness of the growing significance of 'Leadership | Governance | Entrepreneurship | Management'.

Generally are the Ambassadors providing international expertise with Masterclasses, Keynotes and in Research projects, with Management work, etc.
